Pyramid Atlantic Art Center presents the 11th Biennial Book Arts Fair and Conference, the preeminent book arts event on the east coast. Now in its third decade, the fair will showcase a dynamic array of innovative book art, limited edition prints, fine papers, and specialty tools along with a rich program of notable speakers, demonstrations, and special exhibitions. This three day event will connect international artists, scholars, collectors, publishers, and art lovers. Serving to inform and inspire, the Book Arts Fair and Conference is a celebration of the printed form and the book as art.

NEW! Contemporary Prints & Marketplace
This year’s fair promises to be a bigger and broader event with the addition of prints and Marketplace. Together with book art, the print component will further highlight the dynamism of the printed form, and the Martketplace will offer a first-class selection of specialty tools and hard to find materials.

VENUE Silver Spring Civic Building & Veterans Plaza
Situated in the heart of the Arts and Entertainment District of downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, the brand new Civic Building offers a spacious layout of diverse spaces, allowing the Book Arts Fair and Conference to bring together exhibitions, lectures, film screenings, and more under one roof. All within walking distance, participants and visitors will enjoy convenient access to shops, restaurants, hotels, DC Metro subway system, American Film Institute, ArtSpring Community Art Store, and Pyramid Atlantic Art Center.

Pyramid Atlantic is a non-profit contemporary art center dedicated to the creation and appreciation of hand papermaking, printmaking, digital arts, and the art of the book. For nearly 30 years, Pyramid has provided opportunities for the discovery and creation of these fine arts through imaginative programming for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. An artist-centered community with an international and local following, Pyramid Atlantic brings print and paper arts to people all over the world.
